What do the various metrics in my Publisher Center report stand for?

The following is a brief guide explaining the metrics of the Publisher Center Reporting:

  • Net Impressions- the number of times a website was loaded by internet users, calculating only those pages on which at least one ContentLink ad was displayed.

  • Clicks - The number of times a ContentLink ad was clicked on in any specific day.

  • CTR - (Click-Through Rate) the average rate at which a site’s users click on an ad; this is calculated by dividing the number of clicks by net impressions to yield a percentage.

  • Revenue- The total earnings as a result of all clicks in a particular day.

  • eCPM - (Effective Cost Per Thousand)- an estimate of the revenue for each 1,000 net impressions that a publisher’s site generates; a key tool in projecting revenue based on impressions.
